The dead body of the driver of vehicle 112 in East Colony police station of Jamalpur in Munger district of Bihar has been recovered by Sultanganj police station under suspicious circumstances from Sultanganj auto stand. The deceased has been identified as Ajit Kumar (38), a resident of Berai village of Asarganj police station area of Munger district, who was currently posted as a driver in 112 vehicle at East Colony police station of Jamalpur. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. Now only the post mortem report will reveal the circumstances under which Ajit died.
Meanwhile, Puneet, brother of the deceased’s wife, told that Ajit Kumar had reached Sultanganj by train from Jamalpur on Monday morning. Where Ajit’s body was found bleeding at the stand. Apart from his wife Geeta Devi, Ajit leaves behind two children.
Puneet told that Ajit was a retired soldier who was the eldest among three brothers. He said that looking at Ajit’s body, it seems that either he died after being hit by a vehicle or this condition occurred due to brain hemorrhage. He also said that the police have taken possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Here, the police say that the reasons for Ajit’s death will be known only after the post mortem report comes.
